Is your parking system the same as the car manufacturers?
Different car manufacturers have different parking solutions. The Trim Technik parking system has been designed to be equivalent to the systems specified by Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, and Land Rover.
How does your parking system work?
Our system is an audio/visual system. There is a visual display for both the front and rear sensors that “count you down” to park. The visual display is complemented by an audible “beep”. The time between “beeps” decreases as you get closer, the “beep” becomes constant when the “park” position is achieved.
Can your parking system be fitted on site?
Yes – Our parking system can be fitted on site within the day.
Can you fit rear only sensors?
Yes – The Trim Technik system can be fitted as a front and rear or rear only system. Most customers choose the front and rear configuration.
I have been told many parking systems “false alarm” during normal driving?
The Trim Technik system incorporates a CANBUS interface, this enables the system to pick up the speed of the vehicle. The system is only live at speeds of less than 6 mph, this ensures the sensors are only live when you need them live – during slow speed manoeuvring.
How long is your warranty on your parking system?
3 Year Warranty.
